Quooker streamlined its bin management with RTI, solving inefficiencies and providing better insight into inventory levels and crate flows. By implementing digital solutions, Quooker reduced costs, improved operational efficiency, and gave suppliers the ability to track inventory in real time. Read the full story below!
“The RTI Blockchain solution has significantly improved our operational efficiency and provided us with greater insight into the processes. The contact has always been quick and helpful, reinforcing our confidence in the solution. I look forward to making optimal use of all RTI's functionalities in the future. Our Inbound, Replenishment and Outbound teams have now become enthusiastic users and are now continuously working together to make RTI even more efficient.”

Quooker, known for its innovative boiling water taps, faced a considerable logistical challenge: managing their load carriers (specifically bins) was inefficient. They were struggling with a chronic shortage of bins, which extended lead times because suppliers often used the bins themselves. This led to higher costs due to the need to use alternatives such as cardboard boxes. In addition, there was a lack of clear insight into the baking flows, so Quooker lost an overview of where their bins were located.
Lovepreet Singh, Logistics Planner at Quooker, explains:
“We had to order new bins all the time and lost track of where they were going. This resulted in unnecessary costs and longer delivery times for suppliers.”
Quooker chose the RTI Blockchain solution to optimize their load carrier management. This choice was mainly motivated by the user-friendliness and the potential to digitize the entire bin management, which was previously kept on CMR forms.
The implementation of RTI went smoothly, with one small obstacle: some employees had difficulty entering bin sizes, as the bins were not labeled. Together with the RTI team, led by experienced consultants, this was solved by adding barcodes, which ensured a smoother operational flow.
“The process went very smoothly, and with the barcodes, we now have a lot more control over our load carriers.”
While Quooker is still gradually adding all their suppliers to the RTI system, the improvements are already noticeable. Quooker now has a better insight into the minimum and maximum stocks of their bins with external parties and can monitor the number of bins per shipment much more accurately.
An important advantage of RTI Blockchain is the ability for suppliers to act proactively. Where suppliers used to always have to email afterwards to request bins, they can now see in real time how many bins are available and, if necessary, easily request additional containers via the platform.
“We have significantly improved visibility in our baking inventory. Suppliers can now see what they have immediately and easily request more bins via RTI, which has made our supply chain more efficient.”
Quooker has already seen significant improvements, but the company is looking further. The goal is to connect RTI to their ERP and WMS systems, a project scheduled for February 2026. This integration will further increase the automation of their load carrier management and help them achieve their long-term goals.
“We want to fully connect RTI to our ERP and WMS system to automate the entire process,” says Lovepreet. “This will give us even more insight and further improve efficiency.”
The RTI solution has helped Quooker streamline their bin management, cut costs and improve operational efficiency. While there are still steps to be taken, the user-friendly interface and excellent support from the RTI team have made a difference to their supply chain.
“We are very satisfied with RTI Blockchain and look forward to making optimal use of all RTI's functionalities in the future. I'm also looking forward to further integration and optimization of our system.” — Lovepreet Singh, Quooker
